Hasaan Raza is the founder of Civsec Group, an acquisition-led group focused on acquiring and building established essential service businesses across the UK.
Background
Before founding Civsec Group, Hasaan served for seven years in the Royal Marines.
Following his military career, he spent eight years working across sales and business development, developing commercial experience in customer acquisition, relationship management and revenue growth.
During this period, Hasaan also founded several businesses of his own before later moving into security and operations.
His experience across commercial development, entrepreneurship and operational delivery ultimately led to the formation of Civsec Group.
Civsec Group
Hasaan founded Civsec Group with the objective of building a significant group of essential service businesses through acquisition and long-term ownership.
The Group focuses on established companies operating across fire and security, compliance, facilities management, technical building services, electrical controls and building management systems.
Civsec is particularly interested in businesses with strong customer relationships, capable management and employees, recurring or repeat revenue and a reputation built over many years.
Approach
Hasaan’s approach to acquisition is centred on understanding what already makes a business successful before determining what should change.
The objective is to preserve valuable customer relationships, knowledge and culture while supporting businesses with the resources, systems and commercial capabilities required for their next stage of development.
